Heartfelt Creations January Alumni Hop

Hello friends!  It's that time again when we are hosting the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop.  As always, you will have the chance to win a $25 gift certificate to shop at Heartfelt Creations.  All you have to do is comment on each blog that is participating in the hop.  Hop starts 8am EST on Tuesday January 27 and closes Friday January 30th at midnight.
Please note: The winner of the blog hop will have 72 hrs. to claim their prize, otherwise another name will be drawn.

Today I'm sharing a valentine made from a recycled snack box.  I painted the box with a gold metallic paint and then covered it with kraft cardstock and the design paper.  I used lots of dies.

I added some lace around the sides and then made some vellum flowers for the top.

Hello, Little One

Today I'd like to share a sweet baby card, made with an adorable free image from the lovely Heather Valentin. (Lacy Sunshine)    It was shared on her FB page.  Thank you!

To create the sparkly pink border, I used 1/8 in. red line tape and sprinkled the glitter onto it.  I purchased this glitter eons ago but never used it.  It's called Watermelon Mist and is a lovely blend of pinks.  The sentiment was created in PSE 5.  This program is ancient (a bit like me) but it does what I need it to and I hate to learn new programs so I've kept it.

I included a part of the image with the sentiment.  One of the things I love about digital images is that they can be resized.
