Christmas In July #2

I'm having such a good time with the Christmas In July theme at Creative Inspirations Paint, that I made another card.  Designed2Delight was asking for a card with no red or green; I probably took it to the extreme with non traditional colors, LOL.  I used the Nestibilities 'Lacy Oval' to cut out a soda can and then used a flower embossing folder.  This is the first time I tried the Cracked Glass technique; I thought it would fit the theme of the card.  The little penguins are painted with CI Paint 'Winter Frost and Citrus'.  Every time I use a new color it becomes my favorite!  Citrus was an exact match for this paper which is the Christmas combo pack from DCWV.

My handmade flowers were painted with CI Paint 'Tanzanite and Burnt Sienna'.  The bling in the center are hot fix 'Jeweled Inspirations' available at CI Paint.

Have you tried Tim Coffey's plastic bag flowers yet?  You can find the directions here.  These are so cute!  He uses a 4" square; I used 2".  They're the same as those tissue paper flowers we used to make years ago; just using your plastic shopping bags.  And the color of this one was perfect for this project!

Thanks for visiting and have a blessed day!
