Please note the hop has changed from the last Tue. to the last Fri. of the month.
The winner will be announced on the HC blog and on FB. I will also announce it here on my blog.
You will need to email Heartfelt Creations at info@heartfeltcreations.us with "Winner of December Alumni Hop" in subject line.

What are some new things you are hoping to accomplish in 2017?  One of mine is to do some Bible art and so I made a little journal to record some of my favorite Bible verses.

I found these little spiral bound notebooks at the dollar store.  The blue spirals were perfect for this paper collection.  The closure is created with a tag.

I created a banner and printed directly on it.  I used the ticket die to draw a frame around the words.

There are pockets on the inside of the cover.  I used the Ornate Border die to create the tag on the right.

There are some tab dividers.

More pockets and tags on the inside of the back.

And the back cover.  Here you can see the tag I used to create the closure.

Heartfelt Creations November Alumni Blog Hop

Hello friends! It's that time again when we are hosting the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop. As always, you will have the chance to win a $25 gift certificate to shop at Heartfelt Creations.   All you have to do is comment on each blog that is participating in the hop. Hop starts 8am EST on Tuesday November 29th and closes Friday December 2nd at 11:59pm EST.

Today I'm sharing my first loaded envelope.  I used the Snow Kissed paper collection.  I used a 6X9 white envelope, cut off a sliver on each side and added gussets to give me more room for all the goodies. I added 1 pocket on the front and 1 on the back.

There are 2 cards with envelopes in the back pocket.

I created toppers for the gifts and created envelopes to hold cut outs from the paper and some die cuts.

My favorite piece is this shaker ornament.  I stamped the snowman on shrink plastic, cut it out in a free form shape, and baked it.  I purchased a plastic ornament at the dollar store that came in 2 pieces.  The snowman fit perfectly.  I cut out the scene from the paper, added some beads, and glued the paper on the back.

Did you know there are only 8 more Mondays till Christmas?  Just sayin', LOL.

Recently I participated in a Christmas song PL swap.  This design paper was so perfect for Frosty the Snowman.  All the words were created in Photoshop.  I used Wink of Stella to create lots of snowy sparkle and the images that are die cut I colored with Prismacolor pencils.  If it's hard to see the detail, then just click on the picture to see a larger image.

Hop starts 8am EST on Tuesday September 27 and closes Friday September 30 at 11:59pm EST.

Do you know someone who likes to read?  These corner bookmarks are so adorable!  I stamped the images and colored with Prismacolor pencils.

The snowflakes were embossed with clear embossing powder and then I used distress ink to color the sky.

For this one, I placed the die at an angle to create a pocket and added some paper to take notes.  I'll be using these as stocking stuffers.

Hello friends! It's that time again when we are hosting the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop. As always, you will have the chance to win a $25 gift certificate to shop at Heartfelt Creations.   All you have to do is comment on each blog that is participating in the hop. Hop starts 8am EST on Tuesday August 30 and closes Friday September 3rd at 11:59pm EST.

Today I am sharing a Christmas gatefold card using the Celebrate The Season design paper.  I used one of the card front panels for the center and then added the sentiment card with pop dots.  The gifts, skates, mittens and leaves were die cut from the design paper.  I added Stickles and Wink of Stella to add lots of glitter.  In my humble opinion, Christmas cards just have to have lots of sparkle!

I created a belly band with the Ornate Borders and Pockets die.

Thanks for joining our blog hop!  I know you will find lots of inspiration.  I created the background for my card using the Large Elegant Word Background stamp.  I inked an embossing folder with Victorian Velvet distress ink and embossed the panel.  I then swiped my Delicata Gold ink pad over the raised design.  I stamped the center design and colored with Victorian Velvet.  I added some Stampendous Shabby White Embossing Enamel and some rhinestones.  The sentiment was embossed with gold embossing powder.

Hop starts 8am EST on Tuesday June 28 and closes Friday July 1st at midnight.

Today I used the Farmers Market paper collection to make my card.  I used one of the card fronts for the base.  'In the garden' panel is a cut out from the paper collection and I adhered it with foam tape.  The ticket and sentiment are also cut outs from the collection and are also on foam tape.  I then stamped and die cut the leaf clusters and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  A sweet little upside down bow adds the finishing touch.

You Are My Sunshine

There's another new sketch at From The Heart Sketch Challenge.

The twist this time is to make it sparkle.

The stamp I used is a free image at From The Heart Stamps.  There are 4 sentiments included.  I used some Stickles, Wink of Stella and rhinestones for some sparkle.

Thank You

There is a very sweet, simple sketch at 'From The Heart' sketch challenge this week.  The twist is to create a gratitude card.

I used one of my favorite images, Lil Birdie.  She has been colored with Prismacolor pencils.  The panel was matted and adhered with foam tape.  The sentiment was created in Photoshop Elements and I added some rhinestones for some sparkle.

Sprinkled With Love

This is a card I created for the progressive challenge at 'from the heart stamps'.  I recolored the sentiment (which comes with the image) in Photoshop Elements and then printed it directly on the card.  The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils.

To create the shaker embellishment, I used a very large wiggly eye.  I removed the back and then printed the image and adhered it to the back of the plastic.  This has become my favorite way of making shakers.

Life's A Wave

It looks as if summer might finally be here, yay!  And what better way to celebrate than catching a wave!  This is one of the new images from 'from the heart stamps'.  The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and I used some Stampendous Shabby White embossing enamel for the waves.  I followed the sketch at 'from the heart stamps sketch challenge'.

At least, I hope it qualifies.  I'm never sure how much I can manipulate a sketch.  But the twist was to make a circular card so I made a circular easel card.

You Are Toadally Awesome!

Today I have another card share with an image from 'from the heart stamps'.  I am thoroughly enjoying these images; they just make me smile!  There is a single image of the fly and so I duplicated it and then printed it on some DP and then cut the banner.  The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils.

I used their sketch and the twist.
Hope you are having an awesome day!  Thanks for visiting!

Flamingos and Hot Chicks

This adorable flamingo image is a digital stamp from 'from the heart stamps'.  I duplicated the image and then flipped it.  The sketch is this weeks 'from the heart' sketch challenge and the twist was to fussy cut the image so I did that and placed them on pop dots.  The sentiment is part of the collection.

Soon it will be June, (seriously?!) and the most popular month for weddings.  This lovely image is from 'from the heart stamps'.  I used their sketch and they always include a twist.  This time the twist was to enlarge and crop the image.  You can find the full size image here.

I used Heartfelt Creations 'All Glammed Up paper collection and added some Stampendous Shabby White Embossing Enamel.

This is a little booklet I created, using a 6"x9" envelope. I didn't use any dimensional embellishments since I wanted to be able to tuck it into my purse. I made it to practice doodling and zentangles. I'm still not happy with my writing so I printed the sentiments and then added the doodles. Practice, practice! I used the flap of the envelope to create the closure with a magnet.

This shows the inside which includes a waterfall and several pockets for tags.

This is the front of the 3rd page and holds a little booklet.
